Online Fitness Coaching Is The Future

Why Online Fitness Coaching Is The Future

Everything is easier with a coach!

The theory and science behind the fitness world is pretty hard to get your head around initially, and it’s even harder to put into action! When you have a knowledgeable person behind you teaching you everything and motivating you, then the entire journey becomes a lot simpler.

As time moves swiftly on, we’re constantly coming up with ways to make everything more convenient. Technology has become a big part of the innovative ideas and methods of modern times and it has made its way into the world of personal training. Online fitness coaching has become a big part of the fitness world, with thousands of health-conscious individuals using this route to reach their goals at their own convenience.

As you’d expect, online fitness coaching is done solely through the power of the internet. Some trainers offer this via social media, others through emails and instant messaging or online personal training software. Does this sound pretty cool to you? Well, read on, and we’ll share more information on how online training could be the key to unlocking your fitness success!

It’s Super Easy

For both the trainer and the client, everything becomes a little simpler and gives the client a lot more autonomy and flexibility to their training. The client tracks their training and nutrition in a fast and simple, easy to use format, the trainer has real-time access to this tracking and will be able to provide specific feedback.

The Awkwardness Is Non-Existent

If you struggle with confidence or meeting new people, then dealing with a face to face PT might be quite daunting – especially at first, a lot of clients are more comfortable with the online approach, it comes with less pressure. Face to face personal training is like driving your car with your driving instructor, it’s great that they’re there and you will learn faster, but it’s a lot more relaxed when your driving solo while still knowing what you’re doing.

Flexibility

Finding the right time and booking a session with a personal trainer can be quite difficult. If you have lots going on, you might only be able to find an inconvenient slot at an awkward time. The personal trainer might also be swamped in terms of clients. With an online PT, you can train pretty much whenever you want!

The Reins Are Handed To The Client

Usually, when a trainer is directly training with a client, they’ll be dictating what should be happening during the session; when this occurs, the client doesn’t always learn as fast, as they are following, not leading and perhaps not owning the session. If the emphasis is on the client, then they will learn faster, take more responsibility and ownership of their training and this ultimately benefits the client. If a client needs advice on form or specific coaching points, then they can always send a video of them doing a certain exercise to allow the Online Coach to assess their technique and provide feedback.

Not geographically limited

This is probably the most important point. When you’re looking to work with a face to face personal trainer you’re going to be geographically limited and will need to accept the best in your area, not the best of the best. But with Online Coaching, you can work with whomever you feel is the best Online Personal Trainer in the world, who you feel will be right for you, and not just the PT from your local gym because he was the only PT who had a free hour gap at 6 pm on Tuesday.

Both face to face personal training and online personal training have their benefits and advantages. There will always be personal trainers who would rather work in person and there will always be clients who prefer to work with their PT in person. That being said, online personal training is, without doubt, the future of the industry, providing flexibility, convenience, affordability with amazing results
