45 Degree Hip Extension

How to Perform 45 Degree Hip Extension:

  • Shoulder blades pinned back

  • Slight bend in the knees

  • Push your hips back/to the sky (drive your bum back) whilst maintaining a neutral spine (hinge at the hips)

  • Chase the stretch in the back of the legs (hamstrings)

  • Drive up by squeezing your glutes into the pad (don't hyperextend the lower back at the top)
