Starting your fitness journey by having lots of online personal training sessions is a great way to begin – but sometimes it’s fun to get away from your computer or smartphone and meet likeminded people at the gym or a fitness event of some kind. It’s definitely a good way to keep yourself motivated and have lots of fun at the same time. So with that in mind, here are a few fitness festivals going on this year that might tickle your pickle.
20th-22nd July, St Clere Estate near London
Got three days spare in July? Then use them to check out this adrenaline-inducing fitness festival, complete with adventure activities and boutique after-parties. Featured trainers include Lily Sabri, Shaun Stafford, Carly Rowena, Charlotte Holmes and Joel Fontaine, among others.
2nd-5th August, Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire
There are some amazing activities and goings-on at this particular festival, from the Lakeside Spa and lots of yoga and meditation opportunities to workshops, HIIT workouts, dance classes, 80s aerobics, acrofit, wild runs, paddleboard yoga… you certainly will not be bored!
6th-9th September, Portmeirion
This is an award-winning music, arts and culture festival, with experiences and activities including swimming, woodland runs, torchlit processions, wood-fired hot tub sessions and lots more. The musical line-up includes Alexis Taylor, Erol Alkan, Everything Everything, Hot Chip Mega Mix and all sorts of others to enjoy.

This is a one-day affair but you’ll cram a lot into it… start off with a 5k run or walk, followed by a yoga flow class, a mindful triathlon with 25 minutes of meditation, bonus activities like acroyoga, essential oils or hooping, and a trip around the Kula Market. Enjoy!
